Donald W. Kufner has been Chief of Police since July 7, 1997.
Prior to that, he served in various capacities with the
Lincolnwood Police Department for twenty-four years. He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Northeastern
University and a
Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the
University of Illinois. He
is also an assessor for C.A.L.E.A. and an adjunct professor at
Kankakee Community College.
